New Students Request a Peer Mentor: New freshman and transfer women (and interested men) who are majoring in engineering, computer science, and information systems can request a peer mentor for their first semester at UMBC.

Returning Students Volunteer to Be a Peer Mentor: Returning students are invited to volunteer to be a peer mentor to a new freshman or transfer student beginning in the fall or spring semester. Volunteers commit to mentoring a new student for one semester!

A short Peer Mentoring Kick-Off Session will be held at the beginning of the fall semester for all peer mentoring program participants. Mentors and mentees will meet each other at the event.
